Simone (she/they) is a queer multidisciplinary artist who’s Inspired by fine craftsmanship, sustainability and the capability to tell stories through art. Simone graduated from George Brown College in the Fashion Techniques and Design program with formal training in garment construction, bridal and lingerie.  Although formal training has impacted her skill, she first gained her passion for creating through watching her grandmother make clothing.

At Simone Vanessa, we maintain slow fashion with thoughtful, made to order pieces that are all designed by our small business in Toronto. Each piece is created to be different, functional and carefully crafted with quality in mind. Simone Vanessa was curated for those who desire limited, original pieces.

We make a conscious effort to purchase our fabrics from small and local businesses as well as use dead stock textiles in order to keep waste to a minimum.
